DOS & DON'TS OF LEAF COLLECTION

Proper leaf collection and timely snow removal help prevent flooding, improve visibility, and ensure that sidewalks and streets remain usable for everyone. Please take a moment to review the guidelines below so we can work together to maintain a well-kept and welcoming neighborhood.

DO

Place leaves at the curb.
Remove sticks, rocks, and other debris from leaf piles—these materials can damage collection equipment. Place limbs and brush in a separate pile to be collected.
Bagged leaves will also be collected. Paper bags will be emptied and left to be reused if possible.

DON’T

Don’t rake leaves into the street. Piles in the roadway can cause flooding and traffic hazards.
Don’t burn leaves.
