Southmont Forward Fund
We are excited to share that Southmont has been awarded a $25,000 matching grant through the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies. To unlock these funds, we must raise $25,000 in local support, creating a total investment of $50,000 to benefit our community.
To meet this opportunity, we are launching the Southmont Forward Fund—a new, locally guided fund that will support small-scale, high-impact projects that directly improve quality of life in the Borough.

Southmont Borough extends its sincerest gratitude to the individuals and families who have generously contributed to the Southmont Forward Fund. Your support is helping us build a lasting legacy for our community and would like to spotlight those that have donated $1,000.00 or more to the fund.
Thanks to your generosity, we are working toward securing matching grant funds through the Community Foundation for the Alleghenies to establish the Southmont Forward Fund, a permanent endowment that will provide long-term financial support for community projects and initiatives throughout the borough.
Unlike traditional fundraising campaigns, contributions to the Southmont Forward Fund are invested, allowing the principal to remain intact while a portion of the investment earnings can be used each year to support projects that enhance the quality of life in Southmont. This creates a sustainable source of funding that will benefit both current residents and future generations.
